Responsible Play & Support

We want your experience on Ticket Hive to stay fun. These organisations offer free, confidential support โ€” open to everyone, 24/7 where applicable. You don't need to be in crisis to contact them.

โ–1. Warning signs of harmful play#

If any of these ring true, we strongly recommend taking a pause and talking to one of the organisations listed below.

  • You're spending more than you can comfortably afford.
  • You're chasing losses โ€” entering more competitions to "win back" what you've spent.
  • You're hiding your play from friends or family.
  • You're playing to escape personal, professional or financial problems.
  • You're playing at unusual hours (late at night, during work) and finding it hard to stop.
  • You're feeling anxious, guilty or distressed about your play.

โ–2. Free, confidential support (UK)#

โ–3. Self-help tools on Ticket Hive#

You can find self-help tools on the Account pages.

  • Pause โ€” temporarily suspend entry rights for a week up to 12 months.
  • Monthly spend limit โ€” set a hard cap (including ยฃ0 to freeze new entries) and we'll block new entries that take you over it.
  • Account closure โ€” close your account permanently. This forfeits any Website Credit.

โ–4. Concerns about someone else#

If you're worried about someone else's play, the strongest predictor of recovery is a non-judgemental conversation. Citizens Advice and BeGambleAware can advise how to start that conversation.

โ–5. Reporting concerns about us#

If you think we've fallen short of the Voluntary Code of Good Practice, please raise it with our support team. We treat every complaint seriously and reply within five working days.
